TINY TALENTS

Tiny Talents is a class for students 3 – 4 years old who are sparing interest in music, dance, and acting. this class requires a Guardian to groove with their Tiny Talent and grow their fondness for the performing arts!
BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE STAGE PERFORMANCE
Saturdays, April 27 – May 18, 2024 | 10:00am-11:00am
Ages 9 – 12 | $100.00 per Student
Moyer Room
Beginner/Intermediate Stage Performance class serves students who are new to the art of theatre! We help answer the basic question, “what is theatre?” Learn stage movement, improvisation, pantomiming, audition techniques, theatre tech, and more with teacher Candace DiLullo. your student will participate in a final performance at the end of the session and walk away being bitten by the “theatre bug!”
DIRECTOR'S CUT
Saturdays, April 27 – May 18, 2024 | 11:00am – 12:00pm
Ages 12 – 16 | $100.00 per Student
Front Room / Main Stage
Students will learn the basics of directing with director, Eden Lesnansky and have the change to direct by the end of the 4 session period. Locally well known adult actors will come in and students will direct a two-person scene to perform in front of an audience.
COMEDY IMPROV

Want to learn stand-up comedy from John Mulaney or sketch writing from Tina Fey? Well, you can’t. BUT, you CAN learn from regionally known comedians of the Dinner Theatre Rejects, like Paul Dahman. See what it takes to get a laugh from the audience by learning the art of comedy through writing and performing your own jokes and silly sketches.

Get in the Halloween spirit by learning how to create high quality props that are “scary” cool! Your student will learn how to work with resin, create illusions, and become skilled in the crafty art of prop building.
ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE

Join Associate Professor of Theatre at Kent State Trumbull, Eric Kildow, in learning the basics of the classic Alexander Technique. He is a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique and teaches private lessons in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Alexander Technique helps performers prepare physically and mentally for their roles through a range of relaxation techniques and other physical and breathing exercises to produce a more natural performance.
